The program explores the life and achievements of "three great men" who have shaped Japan’s history, delving into their backgrounds, accomplishments, and anecdotes. The sixth episode focuses on Kurobe Kotau, a native of Suzuka City, known as the "miraculous drifter." As the captain of a ship based in Shirako Port, he set sail for Edo but was swept away by a storm, drifting for approximately seven months before landing on Amchitka Island in the Aleutian Islands, which was then part of the Russian Empire. Kotau’s remarkable story of survival, cultural exchange, and resilience in the face of adversity is brought to life through character animation using AI technology, with narrator Fujioka Hiroshi and special guest commentator Daida Miki. The program also features interviews with experts, including Nishijo Kaoru, chairman of the Kurobe Kotau Memorial Association, and Kashiwagi Nobuyuki, chief priest of Ryokufuji Temple, with narration by Yamazaki Rena, former member of Nogizaka46, and music by Suzuki Yuko on the erhu. #JapaneseHistory #KurobeKotau #CulturalExchange #Resilience #AleutianIslands #JapaneseCulture #HistoricalFigures #InspirationalStories
