２０世紀はじめ、世界は一握りの列強が世界の国々を支配下に置いた時代だった。それは植民地の人々だけでなく、帝国主義国の国民にとっても過酷なものだった。ロシアの軍隊が国民に発砲し多数の死者を出した「血の日曜日事件」と、日本の「日比谷焼き打ち事件」との共通点から、帝国主義国の政府と国民の関係を探究する。また、日清日露戦争の主な戦場を確認することで、帝国主義の本質を考察する。

趣味/教育 – 生涯教育・資格It started in 1990 as the successor program to "High School Course" (1982-1989). In 1991, it was revamped as "Education Seminar: NHK High School Course" to meet the general audience’s need for systematic learning programs. Following the revision of the curriculum guidelines in 2003 and the increase in students choosing correspondence high schools, the title was changed back to "NHK High School Course," and it was broadcast primarily for correspondence high school students at 107 schools nationwide, with the aim of being useful for self-study.
